For me, being a Christian helps me to think more about what I'm doing and how I'm living my life and to make better choices. Jesus teaches us how to love others and how to be a good person. Having faith in God also gets me through tough times. I don't think I could go on if I thought I had to go alone. Knowing that God is always with me helps me to keep going. It also helps me through death, not only because I can feel god helping me through, but because I know that someday I will see the people I have lost again. Being Christian is like being part of a family. When I think of the history I feel that I am part of something bigger than this earth. Christianity has helped me to lead a full and happy life and to help and love others.

∙ 12y agoThe behavior of a Christian will vary in proportion to the extent to which he or she understands and accepts what Jesus Christ did for him or her. When a person becomes a true follower of Jesus he or she demonstrates more of the fruit of the Holy Spirit's influence in his or her life which includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self control. There are many who call themselves Christians who do not demonstrate these characteristics.

∙ 13y agoBeing a Christian means being a follower of Jesus Christ and his teachings. Your whole perspective changes because of the hope you have in Him. Your outlook on life is totally different. You strive to obey His commands and His example in The Bible. Some people change or stop doing certain things that are not morally correct. In my life, being a Christian has given me joy and peace that I could not attain through worldly things such as money, material possessions, or status. I am different because I chose not to get caught up in the world and all its temptations. Each Christian has there own story on how they have been changed.
