First, you must understand that we see the color of an object by which ever color it does not absorb.

What bleach does is oxidizes material, removing its ability to absorb light, meaning it reflect the entire spectrum. When the entire spectrum is reflected, it tends to combine and we see it as white.

In clothing, the stain is actually still there, but you can no longer see it as it is the same color (white) as the cloth.

How do you get rid of bleach stains on white t shirt?

A bleach stain on a White t- shirt would just make a hole ! I don't know what your talking about exactly, try soaking the t shirt for a few minutes in bleach, make sure you mix the bleach with the water well before you put your shirt in, that might be how you got 'bleach stains' in the first place (if you just poured the bleach on your shirt and didn't mix it in the water first) and follow the directions on the bottle and don't use too much bleach because that will cause the fabric to weaken and make holes.

How much bleach to use for white clothes?

Carefully follow the directions on the bottle of bleach. Too much bleach can actually burn holes in your clothes. With anything white, you need to remember that white is a color. This is important because fabric starts out as a gray color before it is dyed. If your whites are looking a little gray, it is because you have bleached or simply washed out the color of white over time! No amount of bleach is going to make a garment white if the color has been bleached or washed out!
