Depends on the bomb. Conventional bombs rely on explosives- unstable chemicals that change to another chemical product, releasing heat. Nuclear weapons rely on fissonable material, When the material is crushed together by conventional explosives, a nuclear chain reaction takes place, releasing energy.
You just need hydrochloric acid. "The Works" bomb contains HCL, and when you add aluminum to it, hydrogen gas is released which causes the bomb. If you have hydrochloric acid on hand, you can dilute it to about 16 percent and use it in place of the works bomb. But be careful, as the explosion can send send pieces of the bottle and acid spewing everywhere. And the explosion sound is like a gunshot.
take a bazooka and bomb it
From what I have read so far, there is a chemical in The works called hydrochloric acid which reacts to aluminum, smoke, and heat.
It works just find over there.
As a noun. You could always go with "My teacher asked me to use "atomic bomb" in a sentence." Let us know how that works out for you.
Roll the cherry bomb until it falls, after you have gotten it out, roll it to the cage and wait for it to explode! If it explodes before you get it to the cage get another bomb and try it again until it works.
Killed my grass when I made a works bomb
Yes you can use other items for a works bomb. A works bomb is just a small container filled with ingredients that when mixed together and ignited create a large explosion. Common items used in works bombs are: Gunpowder or black powder Fertilizer Fuel such as gasoline diesel or kerosene Matches or a fuseYou can also use other items such as sugar and potassium nitrate or even a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. However these items are not as powerful as the items listed above and the resulting explosion will be much smaller. It is important to remember that when making any type of works bomb safety should always come first.
The bottle its in expands and explodes making a sound like a gun shot.
Press and hold either: (Xbox) The "Y" Button, and then aim where you want to. (PS3) The "Triangle" Button, and then aim where you want to. This works for any bomb, by the way.
It depends on the amount of aluminum you use. More aluminum takes a while longer to blow up. And if you are not using the works drain cleaner, it would depend on the concentration of the hydrochloric acid. The higher the concentration the faster the gas would be generated. I usually just toss my bomb a few yards away and scramble for my safety goggles. A normal works bomb with enough aluminum to cover the bottom of the bottle takes around 15 to 25 seconds.
I would recommend reading Richard Rhodes books: The Making of the Atomic Bomb and Dark Sun.
