Predators benefit from predation because they get to EAT the animal!! Doesn't everyone enjoy eating?The prey benefit from predation because predators normally eat the weaker and unhealthier members of the prey population. Therefore, the stronger members of the prey population gets left to reproduce and pass on their traits to their offspring."Offspring" is another word for "babies."

Camouflage helps the prey remain hidden, which means it doesn't get eaten as easily.

Camouflage also helps keep the predator from being spotted as it sneaks up on the prey.
