To fully answer the question would take at least 5 hours, but I can give you the basics.

Physical short-term effects: Increase heart rate and blood pressure, pupil dilation, decreased immune system, muscle relaxation, and the illusion of cold or hot skin.

Physical long-term effects: Minor lung damage. (not proven)

Mental short-term effects: euphoria, confusion, difficulty concentrating (unless you are trying to concentrate, than it becomes easier), short-term memory loss and in larger doses; mild phychosis and visual/auditory delusions.

Long-term mental effects: None.

I'm sure there is more to it but this should answer you question.
