Centrifugal force is the force resulting from the divergence of vector energy, E= mcV

F= -Del.mcV = mcDel.V = - mcv/r Cos(VR) = -mfv cos(VR) = -ma cos(VR) .

The minus sign indicates the force is away form the center. Centrifugal means center fleeing ( centri-fugal).

Centrifugal force keeps the earth going around the sun and not falling into the sun.
