Chemistry contributes to the improvement and overall quality of living in an unimaginable amount of ways. First off, and most important is the development of materials such as polyester. Which was created through studies in chemistry. Many materials of clothing we wear were discovered and/or created through chemistry. Other materials such as synthetic leathers, lubrication's, plastics, and personal hygiene products were all created through chemistry. Nearly everything you see was created through the processes of chemistry. On a side note; one major invention which has improved quality of living for US Soldiers and for many people around the world is the invention of Kevlar. Kevlar was accidentally created when a company was trying to create a better material to use to make tires. However, the company accidentally made the material known has Kevlar. So, as you can see, chemistry has an unimaginable affect on the improvement of quality of living.
