Communication is the main requirement I feel when it comes to employees and supervisor request. As a manager not only do you have to keep track of data that comes through your hands but also be able to make use of the data as well. You have to be able to talk to your employee's and make sure they understand what needs to be done. You have to be able to talk to your supervisor to make sure you understand what needs to be done. Listening and reacting, these are the two that are needed most. You have to be able to listen to what is being said and then reacting to it in a way that gives you the best results. If you have poor communication skills you may come off wrong with your employee's and your supervisor, you may give the wrong information because you did not understand the question directed to you. Poor communication gives the impression of poor work without even seeing the job done; confidence in you will decrease and will be hard to make up with a customer, employee, or supervisor. To be good at any job you should strive to have the best communication skills possible.
