Curlers(with heat) curl your hair because of we'll the heat. The heat allows your hair to be perfectly curled except it can damage your hair. I don't use them. If you want heatless, yet perfect soft bouncy heatless curls, all you need is foam curlers. If you add water( damp hair ), (add mousse is optional), and start rolling after applying water. I don't use mousse but it works without it plus you are not adding achohal in your hair and you hair won't take that long to dry. Also your hair won't be dry and sort of "crunchy". I hope this was helpful. Jasmine Styles

In 1960, women used hair rollers in their wet hair to curl their hair. Roller size varied and large rollers were about the size of a Coke can. They used bobby pins or clips to hold the curlers in place and often slept in the curlers. Pin curls or spit curls were other ways to curl hair.
You can use a rat tail comb
Get a perm or wear curlers to bed every night.
After a shower, use curlers to tie your hair and leave them in until your hair dries.
Curlers are going to take much longer than irons, although they provide your hair with more curl.
curling iron, but i like foam curlers... you leave them in when your hair is wet and it dries your hair in ringlets
