Polar bears generally have less dense fur compared to black bears, as their fur is designed for insulation in icy environments rather than for protection. Polar bears have a thick layer of blubber beneath their skin to help keep them warm. In contrast, black bears have denser fur that provides better insulation in forested habitats. Therefore, while both bears have adaptations suited to their environments, black bears typically have more hair overall.

There is some evidence that bears in British Columbia enrich the soil of forests. During the salmon run they consume vast amounts of salmon then wander into the woods to relieve themselves. The nitrogen and phosphorous rich feces are a fertilizer for the trees.
I'm not sure about other animals but there is a lot of mutualism between plants and Black Bears and other bears. One way they help each other is: the bear, in some cases helps disperse (spread) the seeds. And, in return the plants qact as food for the bear.
They are affected by humans because humans are careless and dont care abuot nature
I think the best way is to leave them alone and just support efforts to maintain their habitat.
