Older televisions can make the switch to digital programming with a digital converter. The converters are usually about $20-$60 and are available at most electronics stores.
For people with older, analog television sets, a digital TV tuner is a necessary accessory in order to receive modern TV signals. Two companies that manufacture digital TV tuners are Haupt and Leadtech.
digital picture frames can be distracting for the eye with their digital zooms and crossfading. digital frames are a big space saver and money saver, but they are small televisions and the movement and color changes can make the frame take center stage in the room instead of complimenting and decorating it.
The answer is YES....just do a web search of "portable battery operated digital televisions" and you'll find what you want.
It doesn't.
Unfortunatly the Durabrand DWT1905 is not digital ready, as it only has 1 NTSC "Cable" input and a set of Mono A/V connectors. To make it digital ready, you would either need a Digital Converter Box, or a DVD or VCR that is ATSC compatible hooked up to it.
no
You should not need anything additional, however you are going to want to look at the specifications of the TV, and make sure that it has enough inputs for what you wish to use it for.For example, if you have a Blu-Ray player, or if you are planning on getting one, you would want to make sure that the TV does 1080i or 1080p. If you have a computer that you wish to hook up to it, you may want to make sure the TV has VGA or DVI inputs for the computer. If you have an old VCR that you want to watch movies with, you would need to make sure the TV has composite inputs. It's also nice to have HDMI inputs for future expansion as well. Also, it's important that it is ready to receive digital TV broadcasts as well as regular. If it says "Digital READY" or "Digital compatible" then you don't want that. You want to make sure it actually has a digital tuner.
