he wasn't with the war he tryed to stop the war from started.
the domino theory
It caused hiim to get involved in the Vietnam war
The Domino Theory was the driving force behind the Kennedy administrations actions in Vietnam.
The Domino Theory
Based on his strong support for the war in Vietnam, he must have had at least some belief that the domino theory was valid.
The earliest records of US advisors in Vietnam were from the Kennedy Administration (1960-1963), Kennedy was a strong supporter of the "Domino" Theory and was providing a lot of support to the leader of South Vietnam, Ngo Dinh Diem, it included US Advisors for training, strategy and maintenance, military aid of equipment, vehicles and weapons and huge amounts of monetary aid as well.
Eisenhower's domino theory.
Vietnam was a domino in domino theory if communist expansion
The kennedy`s Administration wanted to stop the spread of Communism and they believed that if Vietnam turn Communist, the rest of contries in the southeast Asia would become Communists as well (domino theory).
There is no difference. It would have been more difficult to get involved in Vietnam WITHOUT the domino theory.
Vietnam
Eisenhower believed in the domino theory that justified intervention in Vietnam and he sent advisors to support the non-Communist government there. Kennedy greatly increased the military aid sent to Vietnam and had the US deeply involved there. Johnson then escalated the War greatly. So, you could say that Eisenhower started it, Kennedy made it inevitable and Johnson really made it a war.
