Filtering uses small openings in something called (media) that could be anything from a mesh screen to synthetic or organic products. These small opening cause things that are bigger (like dirt particles) to stay on one side of the filter. There are problems with filters though because the amount of stuff that they can remove is limited by how much dirt is in the water. As the filter gets full, it becomes unable to let water through it. Filters can remove things as small as 5 micron. However there is no mechanical filter that removes chemical contamination. Also some bacteria can pass through these too. In that case you need something like reverse osmosis or distillation.
Filtering is a process that removes particles from a liquid. Filtering also cannot add anything to a liquid. Seeing as muddy water is water with dirt in it, filtering is not a process that can make muddy water.
Clear water can be got by filtering the muddy water, usually through several layers of sand and charcoal. Or by heating the muddy water and condensing the steam given off into clear water.

Because the consituents (water and mud) can be separated by physical action, such as filtering, they are not chemically combined.
* the water denotes the bacteria around the water which is muddy. you filter muddy water by onitting its virus bacteria located on itself. by you. * and also you clean it critically * and also you clean it healthily * and also by removing germs
Filtering water to make it clean.
Alum is a flocculating agent for the impurities in water; after flocculation the filtering of these dirty materials (now as greater particles) is easier.
Crystalisation
Artifical filtering or natural biological processes.
The solutions and Particles are caught through very thin filters... and then it is Purified, which is how water turns out clean.
After filtering muddy water, the mud is left behind as a sludge. If the filter is not frequently cleaned of this sludge, the filtering efficiency is reduced, even to stop altogether.
yes they do.
