DNA is often wound around proteins, coiled into strands, and then boundled up even more. In a cell that lacks a nucleus, each strand of DNA forms a loose loop within the cell.in a cell that has a nucleus, the strands of DNA and proteins are bundled into chromosomes.

THE structure of DNA allows DNA to hold information. the order of the bases on the one side of the molecule is a code that carries informaition. A gene consists of a string of nucleotides that give the cell informaition about how to make a specific trait. there is an enormous amount of DNA,so there can be a lage variety of genes.

Recombinant DNA allows scientists to reproduce a desired protein. Bacterium reproduce at a very fast rate, so they insert a desired protein into a bacterium by using restriction enzymes, and then the bacterium reproduces to produce a lot of that protein.

Scientists can synthesize antibiotics with this technology.

It strands together with RNA to create lymphotodes, then finally releasing the obtiomites it neutralizes the RNA. To ultimately become recombinant DNA.

What is a DNA molecule containing regions from different sources?

Chimeras. In genetic engineering, molecules of combined DNA are known as chimeras because they are produced by combining DNA from different species. Combined DNA is also known as recombinant DNA, since DNA from 2 sources has been recombined to produce it.

DNA molecules that are produced by combining DNA from different sources are called?

The word you're looking for may be "recombinant".

What is the different between recombinant DNA and non-recombinant DNA?

Recombinant- is the DNA fragment of interest Nonrecombinant- the undesired foreign DNA

Splicing DNA from two different organisms produces a new DNA segment called?

When DNA contains parts from two or more organisms it is recombined. Recombinant DNA is often used in genetic engineering. A natural process of DNA recombination is called sexual reproduction.

Why is recombinant DNA a new form of DNA?

Recombinant DNA is a new form of DNA because it is created via introduction of the relevant DNA into the existing organismal DNA.

What is last step in the production of a recombinant DNA plasmid?

The last step in the production of a recombinant DNA plasmid is joining the DNA. This is done by adding DNA ligase to joint DNA fragments.
