Best Answer

gravity can make an object weigh more or less depending on the gravity level.

eg on earth you might weight 10 pounds and on mars you might weight 15 pounds

but mas does not depend upon gravity.

How does gravity affect the object's mass and weight?

Gravity affects weight, it does not affect mass.

How do the distance and mas affect the force of gravity between objects?

More distance = less gravity. More mass = more gravity.

What is the instrument for mas?

There are many instruments for mas. Some of the instruments are volume, mass, weight, liter, gram, gravity and meter.

When gravity acts on the mas of an object it causes the object to have what?

An object with mass that is suspended in a gravitational field will have what we call weight. Weight is the term we apply to the force on that object due to gravity.

Does gravity affect weight?

Yes it affects weight, but not mass.

Do gravity affect the weight of an object?

Yes. Mass is constant for a given object. Weight is a function of mass and gravity, stronger gravity more weight.

What kinds of motion does gravity affect?

weight

How does weight affect gravity?

Weight is the force generated by mass when it is in a gravitational field. When a body is outside of a gravitational field, it is weightless but it still has mass.So gravity doesn't exactly affect weight; gravity causes mass to have weight.

Does gravity affect your weight on different planets?

yes it does

What is the affect of weight on distance paper rockets travel?

it is the gravity affects the weight

How does gravity affect weight mass microgravity and free fall?

Gravity does not effect mass, weight is what you get when you resist the effects of gravity. (Note that in "free fall" and/or "micro gravity" you are not resisting.)

How gravity affect weight?

Gravity impacts weight because weight is calculated using F = M * A. F - Weight in this case M - Mass of your object A - Acceleration of gravity on the planet the object is on. Assuming mass remains constant and your acceleration (your gravity) increases, weight will increase. If acceleration (your gravity) decreases, weight will decrease.
