they squeak and squeal for many reasons.

my makes a weird noise when he want you to stop petting him in the wrong spot.

you'll really never know what they're saying.........

but you know you love them, and that's all you need to know

Guinea Pigs are social animals and they highly interact with each other.They should be kept in pairs.They are very interactive with humans.They make sounds when hearing our footsteps or when opening fridges.Thus they know that they will get their treat soon.

They greet each other by touching with their nose.
