The DNA double helix is separated by an enzyme called DNA helicase. This enzyme unzips the double helix and the strands are then held apart by single-strand binding proteins. DNA polymerase then copies each parent strand of the DNA.
The two major bonds present within a DNA are covalent bond, present between the phosphate group and the deoxyribose, and hydrogen bond, present between the two nitrogen bases. Because a hydrogen base can broken down with heat, heating up DNA will ultimately break all the hydrogen bonds present between the bases, causing the DNA to separate.
the separ8 whenthey are going 2 make a protein.
DNA is bind to the channel and all other molecules remain in the buffer solution and then the channel is washed free of impurities.

At high temperatures, DNA denatures into single strands. A temperature around 95 degrees should work.
DNA molecule is normally double stranded
DNA is composed of two strands of DNA nucleotides.
DNA Replication by enzymes that copy DNA for chromosomes in the new cell after cell division (mitosis)
Hydrogen bonds are responsible for holding the two strands of DNA together.
Of course they can
DNA is double-stranded, unless it has been denatured, then the two strands separate, forming two single-stranded molecules.

DNA helicase "unzip," or separate, a strand of DNA at positions called origins. This means that the hydrogen bonds between complementary base pairs are removed (DNA is double stranded!). When they separate double-stranded DNA into single strands, it allows each strand to be copied (replication). DNA helicases use the energy stored in a molecule called ATP to break the bonds, which serves as the energy currency of cells.
double stranded DNA into single stranded DNA meaning that 2 DNA strands can be produced
DNA is double stranded (2 strands). However, it is noted that there are some viruses with single-stranded DNA.
