Unfortunately it is seldom taught that way, instead you just get a bunch of date and the events that occurred on that date ... it's quite sad.

Correlation is the innovation of the subjects and activities. It is a technique which tries to establish a reciprocal relationship among the various subjects of the curriculum. Trevelyan has very aptly remarked, "History is not a subject at all but a house in which all subjects dwell."
It is taken at the end of their equivalent of Year 10/Year 9 and consists of : French, history-geo-citizenship, and maths. Note, they don't take Science or other subjects we take here. History and the other two subjects are classified as Humanities
