IPv4 was described in RFC 791 in September 1981.
IPV4 is a kind of IP Address.
Minimal bytes required in IPv4 header are 20 i.e. 20 bytes are mandatory. And total bytes in IPv4 header are 60.
There is no need to disable ipv4 to use ipv6.
