It feels like a sharp pinch. Its not anything horrible. It's over quick. Some say it hurts more than an ear piercing, but it depends on the individual. It actually hurts more when they put the jewelry in, the needle isn't that bad. Just make sure you use the antiseptic that they offer in the store. Then it won't get infected... which means no redness or pain. It's easy to care for. If you follow the instructions given in the store, you should be okay. ∙ 15y agoIt is different for every person. Out of all 9 of my piercings it was by far the least painful. For myself it was a quick pinching feeling.

More then likely they'd have you take out the nostril piercing before they pierce the septum. You should have no problem with the nose ring and septum ring getting caught on each other afterwards though.

apparently its not painful, its just more intense like pressure but not sore or anything and is known for not being sore after getting it pierced but nearly all of them are to be honest i cant give you an honest answer but i found this out and i have had my nose pierced twice but with a gun but guns are known to be painful but the 1st time literally you couldn't feel a thing but the second time it was sore kind of hurt while getting it pierced as well and after when i went back home after getting it done but i love the piercing well worth it tongues more worse in pain as I've had it done probably the nose was the best piercing for not being in pain.

I got my nose pierced about 3 and a half months ago and it doesnt hurt that bad...It actually doesnt hurt as bad as getting stung by a bee...I just had one little tear roll down my face when I got mine done...So get your nose pierced it looks really cute :)
