I am nearly 16, and my dad is English. My mum is bangladeshi. My dad converted to Islam but he never really did anything to show he was a Muslim. My mum is very modern and does not do anything either. I was brought up to say I was a Muslim,but i feel like i cant be because i do not know anything. I went to mosque when I was younger, and I fast during the month of Ramadan., but i do not know how to pray or anything. also, most of my friends are Muslims and i feel out of place a lot of the time because they are all so devoted to their religion, whereas i don't seen to have a clue. i feel as though i am fake, and i have no right to call myself a Muslim. can somebody help me please? i really want to be a better Muslim and not be anything like my parents.
