If you take physical science do you still have to take chemistry to become pharmacy tech?

I think you meant pharmacist, not a pharmacy tech. A Pharmacist needs to study pharmacology that is linked to chemistry at certain point. A pharmacy tech doesn't need to attend college, but a technical course only, and his work is subordinated to the pharmacist.

Personal qualities and abilities need for success as a physical therapist?

To become a physical therapist, you would complete a bachelor's degree program at a university. To be a physical therapy tech, you could find a community college or technical school that would provide certification. The university degree is better. I know of 3 types of PT jobs: A physical therapist (PT), a physical therapist assistant (PTA), and a physical therapy technician. To be a PT, you would need to graduate with a bachelor's from a university and then attend physical therapy school which ranges from 2-3 years. A PTA is an associates degree (I believe). Both require you to obtain a license to practice by passing a licensure exam. I am a physical therapy tech, and was trained on the job. There are a few full time physical therapy techs at the clinic I work at, but most of us are college students working part time to get experience before applying to physical therapy school.

What is a physical therapy tech?

A physical therapy tech, also known as a physical therapy aide or assistant, is a healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist (PT) to provide support in various aspects of patient care. Their main role is to assist the physical therapist in delivering treatment plans and ensuring the smooth functioning of the physical therapy clinic or facility. The responsibilities of a physical therapy tech may include: Patient preparation: They help set up treatment areas, ensure equipment is ready, and prepare patients for therapy sessions. Exercise assistance: They may guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities, ensuring proper form and technique. Equipment maintenance: Physical therapy techs are responsible for maintaining and cleaning therapy equipment, such as exercise machines and treatment tools. Administrative tasks: They may assist in scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling other administrative duties. Transfer and mobility assistance: For patients with mobility issues, techs may help with transfers, using assistive devices, and providing support during ambulation. Monitoring progress: They may document patients' progress and report any concerns or improvements to the supervising physical therapist. Patient education: Physical therapy techs may provide patients with information on home exercises and proper self-care techniques. It's important to note that the role of a physical therapy tech may vary depending on the regulations and guidelines set forth by each country or state. Additionally, they must work within the scope of their practice and adhere to the direction and oversight of the licensed physical therapist to ensure the safety and well-being of the patients they serve.
