Jack wishes to contribute to the survival of the boys by hunting for food and providing protection against potential threats on the island. He believes that his role as a hunter will help ensure the group's survival by providing sustenance and a sense of security. However, Jack's focus on hunting and power ultimately leads to conflict within the group and threatens their overall survival.
"The wish is parent to the thought" is a line from Jack London's "The Iron Heel."
oh I wish I knew.....
The boys don't wear masks. Jack and his tribe paint their faces with red & white clay and add black marks with charcoal. The paint acts like a mask, helping to camouflage them when they hunt the pigs but more importantly freeing them from any responsibility for their actions. While wearing the paint the boys feel free to do anything they wish with no sense of guilt, remorse or restraint.

it depends... on who they are,how they treat you, and what else you wish to accomplishe in your life!
Kissing a boy has nothing to do with being EMO or not. If you wish to be EMO, then you are EMO. If you wish to not be EMO, then you are not EMO. A fashion does not define who you are. Be who you wish to be. Kissing boys is not a requirement.
no... although i wish he did
Generally speaking, yes, sex is fun for people of both sexes which is why boys, girls, men and woman wish to do it.
The boys are asked by Jack to vote against Ralph but it is only too plain to them that Ralph has done nothing wrong and that Jack simply wants to be leader, even to the point of lying about Ralph. The boys are embarrassed by Jack's behaviour and refuse to be party to his obvious attempt to overthrow Ralph in favour of himself. Later however the boys join Jack for the fun of hunting in preference to the rules and work involved in building shelters and maintaining the fire, which they feel is all that Ralph has to offer.
It speaks both to Jack's digression into savagery and Ralph's wish for a save civilization. Jack sees the beast as a chance to vent some of the savagery that he has turned to, and wants to use it as a way to prove himself and the rest of the hunting boys. Ralph sees the beast as a threat to the safety of the boys' world, and thinks that they have to fight it to stay safe.
