After Mikan finds out for sure that Natsume has the life shortening Alice type, the two hug, sort of, and Natsume looks at Luca, who gives him a look saying that it's okay that he loves Mikan, but he loves Natsume too and Natsume needs Mikan. Then, they see in the time travelling portal that Mikan has a fever and Yuzuka takes her to an old man's house after collapsing from an injury and having the old man find her leaning against a wall. This old man then becomes Mikan's grandfather after the Alice Academy people knock on the man's door to see if Yuzuka is in there. At this point Mikan's mom doesn't want to put Mikan in any more danger and teleports out without Mikan, asking the man to take care of Mikan. After seeing this in the present, Mikan decides to leave Alice Academy with her mom, leaving Natsume partially devastated.

In episode 19 of GA mikan finds herself in the position of the play, its really different from the manga and ends up at a uncomfortable scene. She has to kiss Ruka in order for the play to officially end. She feels bad cuz if she doesnt then she will ruin the play so she whispers. "Luca-pyon?" and he opens his eyes and she says im sorry. then she bends over and there noses touch and then natsume throws a apple at mikan. (curse him!) Why does ruka always has a bunny with him in gakuen Alice?
Since Ruka is an Animal Pheremone Alice, naturally he carries around an animal. Also I think the mangaka gave him a bunny so that he would stand out a little from other characters. I probably couldn't imagine Luca without his pyon. Luca's bunny is also the reason a lot of people in the academy call him Luca-pyon (: Hope this helped :)

Oh, most definitely!The Non-Spoiler Explanation: Keep in mind that most of the characters in Gakuen Alice are under the age of 13, so the romance isn't fiery and passionate in a sexual way, but sweet and innocent. The Canon couple of Gakuen Alice is Mikan and Natsume and most of the fandom ships it because they're so shippable. There is somewhat of a love triangle between Mikan, Natsume, and his best friend Luca. It isn't the type of love triangle that overpowers the story, though. Probably not. He's the main characters love interest. Plus everyone is doing everything they can to make sure Natsume doesn't push himself. Natsume admits to Luca and Naru how he wants to have a fulfilling life and how he doesn't want to die. He wants to live long and happy with Mikan. So most likely, I don't think he'll die. I could be wrong though. I just think the mangka likes Natsume too much to kill him off.
What happens in Gakuen Alice volume 5?
Ch.24-23-The somatic abilities class is putting on a play. It's a mix between snow white and sleeping beauty. Koko and Kitsuneme bring sticky balls in with them back stage. Long story short, the sticky balls make almost the entire cast stick together, making them unable to perform in the play. Other people who weren't stuck were forced to take over for the missing cast. Mikan stepped in for the lead part of the prince and Natsume was added as the cat in the forest! Naru ends up changing the play about half way through and the new cast is forced to improvise. At the end, Naru has a student write on a cue card that the Prince (Mikan) has to kiss Snow White (Luca) on the lips. Just when they were about to kiss, Natsume -out of jealousy- threw an eraser at Mikan's head.Ch.25- Mikan and her friends watch the alice parade during the last day of the festival. Afterwards is the award ceremony. The technical class wins the biggest award for their attractions. Hotaru wins the rookie award and The Special abilties class wins the Special award. While everyone is walking out, Naru finds Mikan and gives her a letter from her grandfather. Mikan is ecstatic, she even sleeps with the letter.Ch.26-We learn about the last dance in this chapter. The chapter starts with a bunch of girls asking Natsume and Luca to dance with them during the last dance. People start accusing Mikan and Luca that they might dance together since they "kissed" during the play. Mikan freaks out. (in the anime Mikan, Nonoko, and Anna-chan all watch. Mikan asks what the Last Dance is. They explain how when a boy excepts the girls last dance request, the two will fall in love and go out. Mikan clearly is confused and wonders about love.) Iichou explains that you get a months worth of shopping coupons for central town, a special certificate, and a week trip back home. Mikan decides to study with Iinchou and Luca. They test Mikan to see what she knows and she doesn't know anything. Mikan looks at Natsume and his eyes seem to be insulting her, calling her stupid. Mikan discovering that her classmates aren't going to be of any help, she goes to her favorite senpai. Tsubasa isn't much help either, by only discouraging her a little. She asks Nodachi about it, but everything he tells her is different then the textbook, which isn't going to help at all. Tsubasa tells her to focus on one subject and to be clever. Mikan gets determined and asks her classmates for help. They end up all working together while they study. Then, people start asking Natsume, and he joins too. Test day comes and Naru's test is having the class write a love letter to him. Misaki's test has each student working under the the supervision of a cactus that shoots you with needles if you cheat by using your alice. After the tests, everyone compares answers. Persona see's Natsume walking alongside Mikan. The next exam is the cooking exam. One of the students catches something on fire and the teacher uses his hair alice to get the extinguisher to the fire. The next test is being given out by Persona. Natsume is shocked that he's there. Persona seeing Natsume's surprise smirks in pleasure. At the end of the test, Mikan cries because her best wasn't quite enough, causing Hotaru to comfort her. Natsume then confronts Persona, asking him about what was that all about. Persona comments on how Natsume's eyes lost the wildness they used to have. He says that the reason behind that could be because of Mikan. The chapter closes with Persona threatening Natsume to be careful. Obviously this means that if he doesn't act wisely, Mikan might get hurt.Ch.28~ This chapter starts off with Mikan crying because she had the lowest grades. While she's walking, she encounters a bunch of stuffed animals carrying a bucket of water to their master. They ask Mikan to help them by carrying the bucket for them. This is the first time Mikan encounters Kaname. Seeing the situation (Kaname needed water for his meds) Mikan buys him a bottled water. It turns out that Kaname is Tsubasa's best friend who made bear. He had been hospitalized for a while. When they go to visit bear, it is disclosed that Kaname and Bear are very VERY close. They go inside for snacks and tea and a bunch of girls come. Apparently, Kaname had made the stuffed animals that were getting water and gave them to the girls. Kaname goes to get water at the well, because the cabin doesn't have plumbing so the girls put in plumbing. While cleaning dishes, Tsubasa tells Mikan that Kaname has the Alice Shape that takes away life. On top of that Kaname has a weak body. The next couple days, Kaname isn't in class because he got a fever from partying too much. Mikan starts to think about Kanames alice shape and her mind wonders off to Natsume. She notices how he has been ignoring her. Meanwhile, that night, Tsubasa visits Kanames dorm and they talk for a while. Tsubasa notices flowers on Kaname's window sill. Meanwhile, everyone talks about how they had seen a human soul. They send Mikan and Hotaru (who tags along) to see what it was. They find out that it wasn't a ghost, in fact it was bear. Kaname waits by his window for bear and Mikan discovers why Bear has a soft spot for Kaname. The setting changes to Natsume, who's in his dorm clutching his chest. Theres a bag of pills beside him. The chapter starts off with Natsume saying that he started the huge fire that happened in his village, leaving everyone with shocked expressions on their faces. Luca continues telling his story to Mikan and Hotaru, saying how natsume wanted to protect everyone important to him, which is why he blamed Aoi getting hurt and the huge arson thing in his village on himself. Natsume finds out that his father went to look for natsume and the children, receiving a few minor injuries. But before Natsume can be relieved, he is also told that he may visit him, but it would be the last time he would see his father before heading off to the academy. Natsume agrees to go to the academy when they reassure him that his sister will be kept safe under the care of the academy. But in order to ensure the safety of Aoi and Mr.Hyuuga, Natsume wouldn't be allowed to have any contact with his family. The next set of events involve the towns people treating and blaming natsume for the fire, which include them throwing a book at him. Luca tries to help Natsume, only to be pushed away by the fire caster. People were starting to think that Luca was an accomplice of Natsume's, so Natsume made sure that he made it clear that Luca wasn't part of the fire. This is the first time the readers (and even Luca) see that terrible frown on Natsume's face. Luca decides without natsume knowing, that he is going to the academy with Natsume. Mrs.Nogi cries, but agrees that Luca going to the academy would be the best thing for Luca and for Natsume. When they bring Natsume out to the car to be taken away, Natsume sits down to a smiling Luca, who greets him with "good morning!" Luca explains that going with Natsume to the academy was his decision. As the car starts, Natsume's dad bursts out of the hospital screaming for Natsume, suddenly causing him to fall over. Natsume, not seeming to be able to take it any longer turns around and starts to cry. Luca notices natsumes tears and says that he'll become stronger so that the both of them can return home together. The flashback ends and the scene turns back to Luca, Mikan, and Hotaru. He talks about Natsume's missions and how Natsume has to do them in order for Aoi to be safe. And also, he notices how every time natsume comes back in pain from a mission, his star ranking would increase. This seems to be the first time that Mikan sees the more unpleasent side of the academy. She starts screaming about how horrible the academy is. Seeming to have taken Mikan's words to heart, Hotaru decides that it would be best to go and find natsume....And that's how the chapter ends! Hope this helped :)
