Whatever program you're referring to cannot be helped by any means by lying.
Lying (denial) about your drinking is the leading cause of why people become physical and emotional addicted to alcohol. which in others words means dependant upon alcohol. If you don't acknowledge to yourself that you are an alcoholic then you may just forget about a recovery program all together.

lying leads to more lies and more and more until it is out of control which will result in stress and it can also cause other to loose trust in you.
If you are found out you will likely be taken out the that program and told to tell your real age, or have your access limited.
