How does my generation have a role in America's future?

Of course we do. Every generation of Americans has a role in their country's future. From the founding fathers to today's young generation; we all play a very vast role in America's future.

One of the first ways my generation plays a unique roll is by studying our nation's history. If we do not learn from the mistakes of past generations and leaders, then we are doomed to make the same mistakes of the past. This rising new American generation must take the time to study our heritage We must learn the values of which this great nation was founded upon. We must become active in America's current events and issues we face as a nation.

We need to educate ourselves on the path this country is on. We also need to evaluate the views that our elected officials take on the issues that we face as a people. Once we are properly informed on the facts, then we must take action to ensure that this country continues to thrive and prosper as it has in years past.

I find that one of the easiest and most effective ways to get involved is to become active in the election process. My generation is welcomed and encouraged to help out with political campaigns. We must remain vigilant and work for candidates that care about our heritage, and will fight for American principles once they are elected. The "American principles" that I mention are: hard work, freedom, and patriotism.
