first you have to know how color and shine works you see color by that color of light being reflected back to your eyes and the other two are absorbed shine is caused when the polish surface refracts the entire light spectrum cause you to see some "white" light
so your eyes interpret the color as a shiny color

Try nail polish remover, hot water and soap won't work
try spraying hairspray on it then rubbing it with a damp cloth
Nail polish remover should work great. Give it a few minutes, and applications, to soften the nail polish.
You can use vinegar, lemon juice, or rubbing alcohol as alternatives to nail polish remover to help remove nail polish. However, keep in mind that these alternatives may not work as effectively as nail polish remover.

If it is just a fiberglass bath tub, you can just use nail polish remover.
Clear nail polish is a special coat of nail polish to protect the other coat of nail polish
