Newspaper is a good heat/cold insulator. In England they are traditional for keeping fish 'n chips warm
When you wrap the fish and chips in newspaper the newspaper acts as an insulator itself. It stops the heat escaping into the air by acting as a shield to keep the electrons within the food and therefore keeps the heat inside the food. I hope you enjoyed your fish anyway!
Sheet of newspaper are good insulators.
i also want the answer to it but i have this rough idea as you know Styrofoam is a good insulter do u know why food is kept in a Styrofoam container its because it will the food warm for a longer time if it is kept in other types of containers. So i think it will be the same for ice chips it will keep the ice chips for a longer time i hope this helps
Tramps may wrap up in newspaper to provide insulation and retain body heat to stay warm. Newspaper can also act as a barrier against wind and rain, helping to protect them from the elements when they are sleeping outside.
Aluminum foil is a better heat insulator than newspaper. Aluminum foil reflects thermal energy, while newspaper absorbs and conducts heat. Therefore, aluminum foil will help keep heat in or out more effectively.
