Well, I'm not sure if this is 100% right for an answer, but I'm doing an essay that involves the laws of motion and Baseball right now, so I'll tell you what I put down. Newton's first law of motion states that an object in motion will stay in motion, and an object at rest will stay at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. You know that probably, though. So the baseball itself is at rest until an unbalanced force - the force of the pitcher throwing it - acts on it, causing it to move.
The ball stays in motion unless an unbalanced force, say the person who catches the ball if there's a strike (the catcher), acts on it by catching it, which stops the motion. Inertia.
When a baseball player applies a large force to a baseball (when he hits it) it accelerates it to high velocity. If the ball had more mass, that same force would not accelerate the ball to such a high velocity. **********hope this helps************!!!!!!!!!!!! =-) =)
Newton's third law of motion of motion states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. In baseball, this is best exemplified by the opposite reaction on a baseball bat when a baseball is hit. If the ball is thrown fast enough, it can even shatter the bat.
Newton's Second Law states that force is equal to mass times acceleration.
F = ma
The more force that is applied to either pitching the ball or hitting it then the faster it will go.
According to Newton's second law of motion, acceleration depends on the object's mass and on the net force acting on the object. Newton's third Law applies more though. Do you need to know why?
When the ball hits the bat then the ball feels as much force as the bat does hitting the ball
Well you have to choose a specific Law of motion, and then ask.
because it does in a way

Newton's Third Law applies everywhere.
Newton's third law of motion is that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This law is also called reciprocal motion/force or "action-reaction."
The third newton's law is law of interaction..
