Assuming the 97 is the same as my 96, jack the rear wheels off the ground and remove wheels. The brake rotor has a rubber plug in it which needs to line up with a STAR adjuster which is located behind rotor and near the bottom. Once you have the STAR wheel adjuster in sight you simply pry the star UP to increase brake, and DOWN to decrease brake. If there is an easier way, i sure would like to know.
Find and remove the daytime driving lite relay and or fuse, or loosen ebrake adjust a little and drive with ebrake on one click or jumper across the switch at ebrake that makes lights think its on but ya didnt here that from me LOL, Have you tried to push the small button located just to the left and below the headlight switch? Press that button four times in a row. You will hear a chime and your auto headlights will be disabled. (This may only temporarily disable them. I think after you shutoff and then restart, the auto headlights are enabled again.)
press your ebrake one or two clicks and leave it on
The second one may be for the cruise control.
If you lift your ebrake handle one notch, it will not engage the brake, but it will turn off your drl's. Or you could always pull the fuse.. :)
Supreme. The one with the highest octane rating. Using a lower grade will result in poor performance.
"Can you adjust my glasses?"is a good one.
To adjust one's screen resolution on a Windows computer, right click on the mouse when the pointer is over the homescreen. Press "adjust screen resolution" and adjust to one's needs.
Borrow one of those jump boxes and properly connect it to the vehicle's battery cables then push the trunk button.
One uses the thermostat to ADJUST the temprature of your central heating. you should adjust your head and make sure its on properly
the alternator belt is the one all the way in the back. You have to loosen the power steering pump, A/C idler pulley, and then loosen the alternator.
It might be one of your belts. Check the inside of each belt (the part that contacts the pulleys) for shininess or cracking. If the belts are okay, then check and/or tighten the tension. Steven
Here is how I did it, option A: pull your ebrake up 1 click, I do not recommend it. But that's what I did for a while. Option B: install a switch onto the wire under the ebrake . I just used a easy quick connect, then took a wire from that to one post of the switch, and then another wire from the other post of the switch to a ground(a bolt where it is in contact with the metal frame of the car) then mount the switch to one of the free toggle plastic inserts. Either way, it will turn the headlights out but it also will show that the brake is on. until I can investigate it further these are my options... saves my life of expensive headlight bulbs....
