You will feel empty inside, emotionally drained, numb or emotionless to situations that you would otherwise respond emotionally to, feel as though the world is fake, foggy, or "behind glass", have a swinging mood (you feel "up" and "down" continuously), constantly question life and religion (why am I here, is God real, etc.), you feel hollow inside, have a hard time feeling or sorting out certain emotions, feel isolated from friends and family, and often see objects differently than other people. I suffer from Depersonalization Disorder, and from many of these. In a few ways, Depersonalization is like depression, but you feel no loss of interest or physical pain, though if this isn't helped, it can rapidly turn into depression.
