1. Turn on your DS
2. Click on your heart gold game.
3. On the menu screen click on 'connect to pokewalker'
4. It will come up with stuff you can do.
5. Choose which one you want to do and hold the pokewalker next to your game card when it says connecting to pokewalker.
You should have connected by now. If it doesn't work it might be broken.
