Two pairs of Infrared LEDs are used as motion sensor detector. The first one is wired to emit LED and the second is wired to transmit a signal when it receives an infrared input. this infrared is reflected back to the receiving LED and then the signal is produced. This signal can be used to open sliding doors, turn on a light or set off an alarm.

Assuming you mean a Mauser 24/47, use the sight as you would any open rifle sight. The slider on the rear sight adjusts for range- marked in meters.

Absolutely - I have both programs on my computer and Open Office will happily open MS Works files.
Just open it as if it was an OpenOffice document. OpenOffice will read MS Works documents quite happily, and you can either save them as OpenOffice or MS Works formats.
