The exposure of organisms to toxic agents in the environment may result in adverse effects if exposure concentration and time exceed the threshold. The principal goal of Toxicologists is to find the relationship between toxic exposure and degree of effect. However, Environmental Toxicologists use the concentration of the toxicant in the exposure medium as a substitute for the dose. The chemical bioavailability is influenced bybiotic (Living things) factors and abiotic (Non Living things) factors (Write and Welbourn, 2009).The biotic factors that affect toxicity of a pollutant areTaxonomic group andAge/Body sizeThe abiotic factors that affect the toxicity of a pollutant are:TemperaturepH and alkalinitySalinityHardnessChemical MixturesDissolved organic Carbon (DOC)Wright DA and Welbourn (2002). The Pelagic zone in a body of water is neither near the bottom nor the shore. Its name comes from the Ancient Greek for "open sea". Life can exist in the Pelagic zone so it is biotic, although as it gets deeper and light levels decrease, large parts of it may not see much life at all.
pain
because it makes you react quickly by using fast twitch fibres in your body which makes your muscles react.
Hydrogen is displaced when antacids react with our stomach acid, but the gas that is expelled from our body is not pure hydrogen as there are other gases in our body as well.....
A finger nail is biotic because a finger nail is actually living considering a lot of celluar activities take place, but abiotic factors are normally sunlight, wind, water, and etc.
"The Sky is an Abiotic Factor of the World" It is Abiotic since it is not a living thing.
Hair is biotic factor because even though it may seem dead it is still a living factor on your body.
Abiotic- Sunlight, water, temperature, and living space Biotic- predators and symbiosis
An abiotic factor is a non-living thing that is part of the environment. Abiotic factors of an alpaca include the oxygen it takes in and its body temperature.
Biotic things cannot live without abiotic things. Abiotic means it is a non-living thing in the environment, such as air, water, wind and soil. Biotic means that it's a living body, part of an ecosystem, such as fish, or humans.
The following are abiotic: Rocks, Clouds, Air, Sun, Water. The following are biotic: Birds, Grass, Insects, Rabbits, Alligators. Basicly abotic things are living, and not organinc body.

Biotic components of the ecosystem refer to any living component and their interactions.Abiotic component refer to any non living component in the ecosystem.5 Biotic components can be;producers green plantsherbivores(goat, cow, zebra),predators (carnivores)like leopard, lionsparasites, like ticks, tsetse flies,mosquitoes.decomposer,like.mushrooms,bacteria,worms etc.5 abiotic components are likeStonessoiltopographyclimatemoisture/water5 Abiotic components are:1. Water2. Sunlight3. Oxygen4. Temperature5. Soiland you guys go to Felix festa
I consider it abiotic because it is not any sort of organism. It includes those organisms within it's area, and affects those organisms in various ways, but it does not consist solely of them. Space is not a plant, and it doesn't possess a body needing of sustainence - it exists whether or not the plants and creatures within it vanish.
The 'littoral zone' is one of them, but this depends upon who is using the definitions of the zones. The US Army Corps of Engineers, The US Navy, and the Environmental Protection Agency each have their own definitions, with legal implications. See the Related Link listed below for more information:
the body does not react well to bacteria. It can be harmful to your body and can start disease
