No. Most officials in the US, including most police officers, swear to uphold and defend the CONSTITUTION from all enemies foreign and domestic. This makes many people question things like the Patriot act that is so damaging to the Constitution and the rights of the people.

It doesn't. Instead of protecting us, it simply is an unconstitutional law that allow the government to bypass the courts and it simply opens the doors for abuse of power.

The Patriot Act changed America because it immersed us in surveillance culture. Basically, Edward Snowden's rise was created as a result of the Patriot Act. Too much surveillance and too much ignorance was displayed by the US onto its own people
