Pneumonia affects your body by making it hard for you to breathe.

I read that it causes

  • high fever
  • shortness of breath
  • chest pain
  • joint and muscle pains
  • low body temperature
  • increased respiratory system rate
  • low blood pressure
  • high heart rate

Pneumonia is a condition that normally affects the lungs. When the lungs cannot function properly other body systems do not get the oxygen they need to operate efficiently.

Pneumonia primarily affects the lungs, but it can indirectly impact the nose through increased mucus production and post-nasal drip.
