Public speaking impacts bussiness communication because a person speaking for a company has to have great publicspeaking skille otherwise the bussiness reputation could be hurt.

In my personal opinion, public speaking is extremely important in business. Think of a large business room. You have to pitch an idea to a board of directors. You honestly think that it will help both of sides, however, you just have to convince them of that. That is where public speaking comes in. When you speak to them, you're projecting confidence. You're not only selling the product, but you're selling success.

If you're majoring in business communications, I advise you to minor in public speaking. It can help your career greatly since you're it will teach you that you're not only selling a product. A good salesman should be able to convince people to purchase a bad product.

What is the difference between public speaking and other forms of communication?

Public speaking is a specific form of communication where a speaker addresses a large audience in a formal setting. Unlike other forms of communication, such as one-on-one conversations or group discussions, public speaking requires the speaker to carefully plan and deliver their message effectively to engage and persuade the audience. Public speaking often involves the use of visual aids, vocal variety, and body language to enhance the message and make a lasting impact on the listeners.
