The tranny cooler inside the radiator went bad.
about 3 quarts
Between the transmission and radiator.
It is in the bottom of the radiator but sometimes it is easier to remove the lower hose.
Low coolant? Cooling fan not working? Radiator plugged or air flow restricted? Defective thermostat? System air bound? Water pump not circulating coolant? Defective radiator cap?
Drain radiator at bottom or rear of radiator
To replace the radiator on a 2002 Toyota Sequoia, start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal. Drain the coolant by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator, then disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses, along with any transmission cooler lines. Remove the mounting bolts and lift the radiator out. Install the new radiator by reversing these steps, ensuring all connections are secure, and refill the coolant.
On the radiator...
For the 98 it is right behind the front bumper between the driver side headlight and the radiator. Sorry if this doesn't help.
Remove the drain plug from the bottom of your 2002 Chevy Camaro radiator. Allow the coolant to drain out into a container. When all the coolant is drained out replace the drain plug to its original position. Fill the radiator with new coolant.
Where is the drain for the coolant on the radiator of a 2002 Ford Explorer sport (v6). Thanks.
Lower left of radiator.
