It depends on what you mean by 'unite'. Unite as in be friends? Or unite as in work together or fight for a goal together? In most cases i think yes, you can be friends and work with someone of another religion, but before doing so you should be sure that you are strong in your own faith. You don't want to constantly put yourself around people who do not have the same morals/values as you-as this may put you in situations that could break some of yours.
Yes, a society can survive without religion as many secular societies exist today. However, religion has played a significant role in shaping societal structures, moral codes, and cultural traditions in many societies throughout history. The absence of religion may require alternative values or belief systems to create cohesion and provide meaning for individuals within a society.
A society's culture encompasses its religion, laws, language, traditions, and customs. These elements shape the way individuals within that society think, behave, and interact with each other.
A society ruled by religion is often referred to as a theocracy. In a theocracy, religious leaders or institutions hold political power and rule the society based on religious laws and principles.
Religion can strengthen a culture by providing a common set of beliefs, values, and rituals that unify the community. It can offer a sense of identity, purpose, and moral guidance, creating a shared framework for understanding the world and shaping social norms. Additionally, religion often plays a role in preserving cultural traditions, fostering social cohesion, and providing comfort during times of hardship.
