When I was a schoolboy, forced to run before breakfast, lots of kids used to complain they were out of breath. "You'll soon get your second wind, boy," the teacher would say. And they did. I never needed a second wind. My first wind was good for any distance at any appropriate speed.
Until I hit 78 years this year. Suddenly, as soon as I run about 200 yards - quite slowly - my breath will start to fail and I will feel ghastly. I slow down and keep jogging. After another 200 yards the second wind arrives and I feel fine. I don't have an explanation. I'd love to see a plausible medical theory.
It's second wind. This describes Restored energy or strength. It is the return of relative ease of breathing after the initial exhaustion that occurs during continued physical exertion.
no, it happens at night too. in fact,it can happen anytime(if there is wind, and something to erode).
