skin protects your body in many ways.first, your skin prevents most bacteria, or germs, from entering your body.bacteria are tiny structures that can cause disease.Skin keeps the outside out and the inside in. It fights and protects from infections, bacteria, germs & viruses. helps moderate the temperature. It is a physical barrier to the diseases.by keeping all the diseases and viruses out.Think of skin as the equivalent of siding on a house. The most valuable assets of a house lie on the inside, but the siding is an important exterior shell to save the house from internal damage.

The skin is a rough exterior coating that protects all the inner workings (organ, systems, etc.) of the body. It is porous, however, such that an object can penetrate the skin and enter the body, but this is often correlated with extreme force. This goes back to the 'siding on the house' example. If you try hard enough, you can pierce the siding on the house and destroy what is inside (i.e. a hurricane hurling debris through it). Similarly, if you take a remotely sharp object, you can have it penetrate the skin and damage the valuable interior of the human body.

In terms of fighting disease, the skin provides a barrier so that your bodily systems are not directly exposed to the outside elements (bacteria and the like). The 'normal fleura' of the body are the germs and bacteria that live on the skin and help it to combat harmful entities that may try to attack it.

What are the indications for reflexology?

Medical Reflexology is a non evasive therapy which reteaches the body through 7,200 nerves to heal itself. When there is an injury or condition or disease the lymphatic blood flow goes around the injury not through it. Medical reflexology manipulates the nerves in the feet to push the lymphatic blood flow through the areas in the body which are in distress and reeducates it to heal itself. The sooner you know there is a problem the better chance your body has to heal.
