To make a friendship bracelet, choose at least three strings of different colors. Embroidery thread works really well for this project. The more strands and colors that you choose, the more complicated patterns are possible. Measure a length of thread a bit longer than your arm(the distance from your finger to your armpit) and cut the string. Use the piece of string that you have cut to measure your other pieces. Once you have all of your sections cut, tide the ends of the string together and fasten them to an immovable object. You might want to pin it to your clothes or tie it around your toe. Once you have it secured, separate the threads or strings into bundles. Braid the thread close to the knot, then weave all the rest of the thread together.
