I THINK it's by the retina in your eye.
Sun light(or any types of light) reflects on the object into your eye. And the retina in your eye sends messages the your brain. (I THINK)
Of course you can still see the flag, but not exactly the same way as someone who isn't color blind.

You look at the fish and see what color it is, if you're still not sure then... ask someone hope this was helpful :D

It might or might not, depending on the illusion and the type of color blindness. Alternatively, it's possible they might see something, but different from what a trichromat (normally sighted person) would see.

well, when you see a faulty answer by someone, click 'report abuse'. It is the link under the answer you see and the text color is red, it should be easy to find.
It simply means what you see is what you get and only you get it. For example: You may like the color blue for a car but someone else may think that the color doesn't look good. They may like the color black instead.
hold up flash card in front of 2 different people and have them write down what color they think it is, but the only way it will be different is if you have a boy whos color blind vs someone who isn't color blind. : )
