How does survismeter help pharmaceutical sciences?

Survismeter, a laboratory apparatus, measures surface tension (ST), Interfacial Tension (IFT) and Viscosity together without any external forces like electric, magnetic etc. Vertical pressure gradient in vertical units of the survismeter works well to operate this instrument. The pressure gradient may manauly be developed using simple piston pump. The ST, IFT and viscosity are fundamental data to characterize the pharmaceutical formulations. So their availability together is an asset in the hands of pharmaceutical and biophysical scientists.
The survismeter in single step process measures surface tension,interracialtension, viscosity, particle size and state of emulsions.Previouslyviscosmeter, tensiometer were used for these parameters but now survismeter is in use.
