GPU.
graphics cards are made to unload some of the work of the CPU so that it can do more at the same time. The graphics cards has a special CPU on it that is made specifically for processing graphics. this allows more intense programs to run without the studdering you get when the main CPU cant handle all the information being thrown at it
A CPU and Ram
The GPU processes all of the graphics and video, instead of relying on the CPU.

a graphics processing unit or graphics card is the "device" that works with your CPU to display 3D and 2D graphics for various games and programs.
The processing unit renders Graphics(2d 3d) just like your Cpu which calculates Logs inturn its gets very hot like your Cpu it has a Fan to cool it
What is a type of data manipulation that doesn't affect the contents of a database?
not much really you know intel they have embeded graphics it means graphics card that is basically connected to the cpu. see stuff like nvidia or ati are all gpu s because they're seperate like cpu's.
normally cpu doesnt affect the graphic card . many of the user use dual core cpu with 2 gb nvidea graphic card. but still to make ur desktop or laptop runn smoothly without giving out ,uch heat try to get atlest i3 processor ,world is running fast cope to it ,, bt still it reall doesnt matter
If money is no concern, start by upgrading CPU. It helps more when running games with alot of data, but definately more to graphics card next
