the Iraq war may have not made any positive effects on OUR economy, but you should see the amazing strides we have helped the Iraqi people make. and we can only hope that in the future all of our hard work over there will pay off. :)
The US taxpayer pays for their troops to be there add to this the uncertainty it has caused to the price of oil and you start to pay even more.

The war in Iraq is called this because the war is within Iraq, its not with any other country. Iraq is having civil wars. Iraq can not stabilize their government or economy.
