it helps a deer survive by the weathering because deer are used to hotness not the coldness
Well, I think the sun helps the deer survive from its energy
They like to tan
they get energy by eating plants which absorb energy during photosynthesis, then a deer comes along and eats the plant and then the deer gets energy. well, a lion comes along and is hungry so he eats the deer, thus giving him energy from the sun.
To do this simply you need to trace back the food source of an animal. For example: lion eats deer, deer eats grass, grass uses sun's energy to produce food via photosynthesis.
Solar energy is absorbed by plants which use it to make food. Deer eat the plants and use the plant's energy to carry on life. Mountain lions then eat the deer.

Plants need energy from the sun.
All living creatures need sunlight to survive. Deer capture necessary vitamins from the air. Not to mention it helps them see. Plants, such as grass, also require sunlight. The deer eat the plants and absorb the energy from the sunlight the plant also absorb. So in short, deer and any living creature get their energy all from the sun as it is transferred to one creature to the next. Hope this helped!! :)
