WD TV HD player works great for me thus far.I don't like the remote and the interface could use some work,but it's a very good product.As I understand it a lot of people like Iomegas and Asus' players as well.There probably isn't a great difference. anonymous@oola.com

wd-73740 has internet connection by adding lan input,wd-73640 does not but everythings the same other than that, if you have a ps3,etc and connect to tv you can also access internet as well by using lan on ps3 or blu ray player.
