Actually, it does change. Tons of cosmic dust from space debris, comets, hydrogen particles, etc. fall to earth each and every day. Who ever said it never changes is a dope.

Where would a person have the least amount of mass at sea level mount everett or the moon?

-- A person's mass doesn't change, no matter where he is. -- A person has less weight anywhere on the moon than he has anywhere on Earth, no matter what his mass is. -- A person has slightly less weight at high altitudes on Earth than he has at low altitudes on Earth. But the change is never enough for him to notice. -- There is no sea level on the Moon. -- And I don't think there is a Mount Everett either.

Is mass consistent?

Mass is completely consistent. The amount of mass and matter on earth never changes, but is only recycled again and again. no but density is

Why is volume extensive?

Volume is extensive because it depends on the amount there is unlike an intensive property such as density because and objects density will never change no matter how much there is of it.

The difference of mass and weight?

1) Mass is a measurement of the amount of matter something contains, while Weight is the measurement of the pull of gravity on an object.2) Mass is measured by using a balance comparing a known amount of matter to an unknown amount of matter. Weight is measured on a scale.3) The Mass of an object doesn't change when an object's location changes. Weight, on the other hand does change with location. From [related links]

How does the rearrangement of water molecules change state of matter?

There are empty spaces between the particles of matter that are very large and that can be used to identify a substance because they never change.

Why is the cycling of matter important to life on earth?

because of the law of conservation of mass. we only have a set amount of every atom and there will never be any more so if once matter came out on an organism it was no longer any good or we consumed the atoms instead of just rearranging them then life could only be sustained for a finite amount of time until we ran out of matter. as it is currently the matter that is in you right now was probably at one time in a prehistoric plant and the last sip of water you had was at one time in a dinosaur's bladder.
