It's like when bees spread pollen from flower to flower. The butterfly will have used the nector for something useful, instead of the flower just dying without providing asomething to the big world. Monarch Butterflies eat the poision in milkweed plants. The monarch butterflies are poisenous because of this. Anything that eats the butterfly will simply get sick and vomit, alot. The victim usually doesnt die, so predators learn to stay away from this transparent butterfly which made them very sick. This is my way of restating the quesstion: "How does the butterfly help plants when it feeds on flower." Sincerely, Shelby Dawn Spears
I really don know what the answer....eheheh

Bright flowers Nectar Scented flowers
The time you plant flowers depends on the type of flowers you are planting. An almanac can help you determine the best times to plant anything.
The bright flowers on any plant are there to attract insects to pollinate the plant and therefore aid reproduction.

They do not help a plant survive. They help a plant reproduce by attracting pollinating animals.
By providing leaves, flowers, wood, roots, fruits etc....So that the insect feeds on them.
No, you need to plant trees.
Zebra swallowtails are helpful to the earth and the ecosystems they inhabit. Zebra swallowtails, along with many other species of butterfly, help to pollinate flowers which allows the flowers to reproduce and continue to thrive.

Some times the plant has a nut or a seed which can help but generally we need flowers to have plants and bees to help the pollen get around!
